    Vortex razors vs Maven’s?

    I had a pair of razor HD 10x42 and have switched to maven b.2 11x45. Although they are bigger I am happy to haul them up the mountain to be more comfortable glassing and better quality.

    Opinions on Maven Scopes

    I have switched from vortex to maven in binos and spotters. I am extremely happy with my switch and think they are worth the money. They are clear and the glass is of great quality.

    maven spotter or usual suspects?

    I did a review between the Vortex Razor HD 85 mm and the Maven S.1A 80mm. I had both of them looking at mountain goats 600-1000 yards away and the maven blew the vortex out of the water in clarity and light gathering early in the morning. I agree 100% that the maven is worth the money.

    I love my carbon tripod but understand the need to be careful and mindful when using it. But to save the weight I am completely fine doing that.

    Insulated or not ???

    I feel that insulation can only do so much and if you want a all around boot you will have more issues in the summer with sweaty feet that can cause issues. A quality sock system will do wonders to keep your feet warm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Hunting Stabilizer

    Shrewd Raid stabilizers have been amazing for me. I use a 9 up front and a 7 for my back bar with added weight.
