That’s funny. There’s a difference between people complaining about a price increase, and people not paying it. Idaho could have raised it 20 bucks and people would have flipped out, and then paid it. There’s no alternative cheaper “product” to buy, and not one state in this country has reached...
This is the 3rd year they’ve had the draws for these hunts. I don’t have the numbers handy, but while they don’t make much off of the tags, it seemed like they made bank off of the app fees.
AAE uses 2 compounds for all their vanes. Elite plastifletch, and max. All the EP vanes ( EP, stealth, hybrid, trad, Phx) you can use whatever. I’ve even used gas station super glue in a pinch. If it says MAX in the name, you need primer and max bond. I talked to Beendare last year when he got...
Better than raising the price of licenses, tags or app fees, would be to implement a state conservation/habitat stamp. Many other states have them. Wouldn’t have to be that much and easier to track.
We used to have a state trout stamp that had to be purchased with a fishing license...

I do gap. My short crawl is literally just to keep my gap out of the dirt at 20 yards for coues deer specifically. I have a 31” draw, so for some arrows if full length is 33-34 I don’t need a crawl. I’ve just had the same gaps for so many years that no matter what I’m shooting that’s where I end...
I’ve never had a 1” crawl, but I’ve been down about 5/8”, and I’m usually around 1/4, but I have a fairly high anchor. I’ve never had a problem tuning a broadhead to a crawl. It’s walking that F’s you up with a broadhead.
We used lag bolts for ever^^, but started using 1/2”x12 or 5/8”x12 galv. eye bolts with the ends cut at an angle. Switched all the corners from rope to orange cam buckle straps, too. Easy to re tension or set up by yourself if it has exterior wall posts.
I’ll add one more thing to the stiff arrow, that I noticed FOR ME, is that with sw or fixed crawl as the nock moves higher to your eye the further right it moves. The more prominent your cheek bone is the more it moves. You may not be noticing it, but your arrow is now pointing left, even if...
I’ve had sesamoiditis, a broken and healed sesamoid, turf toe and plantar fasciitis haha. Lucky me. Is the pain in front of the ball of your foot at the base of your toe( turf toe) or the actual ball, slightly to the front ( sesamoiditis)?
As far as I know, they haven’t used the dryad, but I have a drey with the mutiny belt and I use the belt as a harness in a hang on and it’s fine. I wouldn’t want to be hanging from any of them for very long, intentionally or unintentionally. I just have the narrow leg straps, probably going to...
