I have several of the minus boxer briefs. They have held up well. My legs have wore out the inner thigh area on other merino briefs while hiking/hunting. I will try the shirt at some point.

CORE4ELEMENT quality?

Tried the switchback pants , did not care for the fit . Too tight for larges and my body size. Stitching ripped in the crotch after a couple of wears. Boxer briefs are ok for the price. First Lite is still worth me saving for. Just received the Kanab pants, very comfortable.

Training with a bum shoulder

Man I'm fighting to get over a slight RC tear. I do planks , leg lifts, box jumps, stairs and treadmill with a weighted pack. Sucks getting old.:(

Eric 41- SE Ohio , Grew up in SW Pennsylvania. Im married and have a ten year old son. Water Treatment Plant Operator Hunt mainly bowhunt for whitetails, hunt turkey, yotes and waterfowl. One bow elk trip under my belt.

First Lite North Branch Pant Thread

Sounds like a good option for hiking in public land with a pack and stand on whitetail hunts in the Midwest. Good for hiking but warm and windproof while on stand.

Easy on the join workouts???

Used to do a lot of heavy weight lifting, light cardio. Now that I hit 40 , realizing my joints cant handle it . Tried getting into running but I remembered quickly ,Im not much of a runner. Ive been hitting the TM with a backpack loaded with 2 liter pop bottles. Change the incline and speed...

clothes smell like smoke

Hickory Smoke on my clothes is a cover scent Ive used successfully for the last 4-5 years for whitetails. I still try and keep my body as clean as possible before a hunt but apply smoke to all my clothes and gear before every hunt.

Oklahoma Public Land Spring Turkey

We hunted Black Kettle in west OK years ago. A lot of birds but a lot of hunters too. Despite the pressure,We managed to fill 5 tags out of 6.
