If the Scarpas fit you well I would say the Crispi fit usually has more volume than the Scarpa. I have a low volume foot but with high arches and the Scarpas were far too tight. Crispi boots fit me like a glove.
I must but the only one who enjoys the lighter weight sole. Running the Thor II with the same one and it’s my favorite boot. Was debating on grabbing the Lapponia for when I don’t need something as stiff as the Thor.
A lot of people not reading the comments pointing out that the $600 threshold was completely cancelled for 2023 (still $20,000) and bumped to $5000 for 2024 with that possibly being the number going forward.
That’s fair. But also to be fair, this came about because of people doing actual business transactions without claiming it as income like all the craft mommies at the farmer’s market and people doing $19,900 on eBay before setting up a new account.
Also, the OP got his money almost immediately...
Why would PayPal “be in it” when the concept of them having to now 1099k $600 is making people stop using their business? Believe me…I don’t like the government intrusion either. But none of this would be happening if Biden’s Rescue Plan didn’t change the tax laws.
Did they send you a 1099K specifically? Because the K form is from online commerce specifically. There is a way (see the video I posted above) that very clearly walks you through how to correctly file this form showing your personal property for a loss so that it zeroes out and does not accrue...
This video is like watching paint dry but it very clearly walks through how to separate your items on a tax form showing your loss and that it is non-taxable.
Not if you do your taxes correctly. Luckily, I have a great accountant (mom lol) and I’ve never had an issue with it.
My comment is more geared towards the people treating it like PayPal is somehow now invading their privacy because the liberals passed the ARP changing the law. Be mad at...
A lot of guys here need their tinfoil hats back. You don’t pay taxes on selling personal items for a loss. Period. Even if they 1099 you don’t claim it as income because it isn’t. People freaking out over the $600 1099 for nothing. If you aren’t selling for a profit, than it does not affect you.
Love my 220 but I don’t think they make the 20ga Accutips anymore which has always been my round of choice. Luckily I have a few boxes saved up but it’s an awesome gun.
There’s maybe 4 areas in the entire unit of 45 that you can glass and you can’t get to them unless you want to climb like 2500’ up a rock wall. I think people truly underestimate the unit. It’s steep, dark timber, and covered in blowdown. It will take you HOURS to get anywhere and when you do...
Zero issues on my Thor II other than the wet grass with no gaitors. Even then they were just damp at the top. I did use the waterproofing spray on mine though.
Weighed in today at 21lbs no food/water. Only thing missing out of that is 20oz in rain gear if I take it and maybe a Kiln hoodie for an extra mid layer if it’s going to be cold.
That was without a lid but I think I might just take the weight penalty and carry it purely for the organizational...
I think we are at or near the peak of the influx. I think at some point within the next decade tag applications will be on the decline from the current high. So many things happened at once to create a perfect storm. GPS maps on your phone, services that tell you exactly what unit to apply for...
I’m not sure where you were, but if you had 2000’ of elevation above you this early in the season I would say you’re hunting too low. If you don’t want to go that high either move to an area where your elevation is the upper limit or be willing to go up there. They won’t have any reason to come...
