The Tikka 6.5 Creedmoor Reloading Thread

Lots of good info already.. Here is my hunting load for my Tikka T3x lite. 41.3g IMR 4350 / 143g EldX / Hornady brass / CCI 200 primers / 2.85” COAL / very light taper crimp. 0.5 moa (or better) from bipod. It’s not a hot load but it shoots well, does not kick, and the brass is holding up well...

Scopes and muzzleoader WA State.

The proposal that I see says muzzleloader scopes would be limited to 1x magnification. There is another proposal that would allow crossbows during muzzleloader season.

6.5 Creedmoor Barnes LRX H4350

For my Tikka t3x lite and the 6.5 LRX bullet, I ended up at 41.3g I4350 seated .080 off the lands. No signs of pressure.

I am new to Barnes bullets. I am working on the same load as the OP. When I assembled a load that was .050 off the lands (Suggested by Barnes), the case mouth sits in between the two grooves in the LRX bullet. I can’t think of a reason that this (having one of the grooves exposed) would...
