Tri-state area to West Hunts - car thefts

You could always do air bnb. It’s gonna cost more, but at least you’ll have the peace of mind being parked in a private driveway. Most of them have cameras on fronts of places as well. Air bnb in low population towns is what I did when I traveled across the country with a vehicle full of valuables.

But we can't hunt bears in the spring...

I wish we would have had a spring season in jersey when I still lived there. The fall season is rough because there are so many oaks everywhere that the bears aren’t as fixated on baits as they are on acorns. The acorns are so littered everywhere that the bears just roam and eat where they end up.

    Cell trail cam recommendations

Definitely recommend either looking at coverage for att vs Verizon OR borrowing a buddy that has a different service than you and see what kinda bars you can pull out there. As far as cams go, tactacams are just so reliable, great on battery life if you use the right batteries, and they just are...

    SD cards

It definitely depends on what type of camera and what your demands are from your camera. Cell cams won’t even work without the right card. For how cheap SD cards are anymore, you’re better off going with SanDisk regardless

    Mock Scrapes

You’ll have does and bucks hit a community scrape year round. The scent in the dirt really matters the least in the grand scheme of the scrape, up until rut where a doe in estrous is marking it to let a buck know she’s around. Then it kinda becomes a check in spot for bucks when they smell that...

    Saddle versus Millenium M7

If you’re looking to stick and move for shorter sits, the saddle would make sense. If you’re looking to be mobile for longer sits or a little more comfort, I would go the M7 route. I’ve always used cheap tree stands for transition spots where I wanted to do a last minute sit during the rut with...

Arizona OTC January Archery Guided hunt

Hey dude, I’m new on the forum, but saw this topic posted up top and figured I’d throw some good info your way. I have been down to TLO out of Flagstaff AZ multiple times with other guys to film for them and I have been blown away every time by the work ethic Lance and His son Weston have put...
