    I did try that last year on a hunt in Ohio and it helped and saved my all day sit! Im looking at some new boots to see if maybe a hunting boot would work better than all rubber to help with sweating-thanks for the help!

    I just sold my 1600 Alphas as my feet sweated and got cold in them at 30 degree temps. I never tried the foam trick!

    Rubber boots for whitetail stand hunting

    I know the original poster said he went with lacrosse and I would agree. I have owned several pair of Lacrosse and they have been great boots. I still get cold from feet sweating in the 1600 gram so I sold them and in search of a good non rubber boot for 30 degrees and below.

    I get cold feet easily. When temps get below 25 I use Pac boots or have to end my hunts early. I am searching for a new Pac for this cold winter!
