Anyone have a good or bad experience checking your elk rack on Southwest Airlines? I plan to check several coolers (50lbs each) of meat, but not sure if it’s feasible to get the rack and hide home. Thanks
Looking for options/set ups for storing my deer hunting clothing to keep it scent-free (or as much as possible). Totes, airtight wardrobe? Before you tell me to just hunt the wind I’m not able to due to variable wind and deer coming from any direction. Tks

You assume I’m going to just run right out and look for a bull at 600 yards to shoot. Is there anything wrong with setting up a rifle and growing into it? I didn’t realize this forum was only for experts.
Thanks for your reply. I’ve been doing some reading since my original post and now thinking .300WSM or possible 7PRC. I’d guess that the latter will be more expensive to shoot. Thoughts?
