Tripod height for sheep trip
Okay, so what's everyones favorite? Best blend of weight/stability/ease of use. -

We just got in the new Slik 632. A 22oz, 2 section tripod!
So what do people think? Is this really oriented mostly towards small-medium spotting scopes? Wondering if it would be stable enough for glassing in windy conditions with a larger spotter, say on a dall sheep hunt? -
Swarovski ATC vs. ATS vs. Kowa 553…Updated 4/26/23!
Does anyone have experience hunting dall sheep with the 553? It sure would be nice to save all that weight. Just think it would come down to low-light performance with the smaller objective -
