I know everyone will have different ideas on this but how do you approach hunting a wallow or a water hole when you plan on being there long enough to see a wind/thermal change? Have setups on two sides? Leave when the thermals switch? Found a few good spots but not sure how to hunt them. Also...
I hate to just keep asking questions but are there wolves this far south in Idaho? We’ve seen a couple of sets of pretty large dog tracks but they’ve all been singles and not a group.
Have been here the last three days in southern Idaho, heard one bugle this morning but other than that it’s been silent. Lots of deer and a couple of moose sightings but haven’t found the elk yet. Hoping the cooler weather will get them talking. Have 6 more days to get it done.
