    Winter kill question

    So I’ve been seeing threads on elk and mule deer winter kills. I know western bears hibernate. I have no clue about any of this. Will bears in hibernation die from winter kill. I know the grizzly are coming out and will feed on the carcass.

    Does the lightweight option extend the hunt

    I’m trying to be as light weight as possible on my full set up now. I’m convinced that the less weight I carry the longer I can stay out and going. It would help me conserve energy and wear over a long period of time.
