I’ve hunted with Greg twice and highly recommended him, once Nevada and once in Arizona. No matter how many points you have you have a chance in Nevada so I would put in. I drew 231 ML Deer with 8 points and 121 ML Elk with 12 as Non Res.
I went shooting yesterday. By volume was definitely the closest to my original load. So by volume it will be the same but by weight it’s about 4 grains less.
Thanks for the reply.
“BH209 is designed to produce consistent results by volume among lots”
that’s what I was afraid of. I’ve measured up 4 loads by weight 77 ( the previous powder) 75,73 and 71 ( the new powder by previous volume). I’ll shoot those and see which is best. Luckily I have 2 tubs...

Draw odds keep getting worse this year the 12AW late hunt Bonus tags went to max point holders. Just not enough tags to make any head way on point creep.
I drew a Nevada Elk tag.
Anyone have any experience with the Barnes spit-fire T-EZ 290 gr Sabots on Elk ?
my gun is set up with these and is very accurate and I really don’t want to start the whole process over especially with components hard to find.
thanks
I drew the same tag as you but as a NR.
I use a CVA Accura V2 with the thumb hole stock.
50 cal with the Williams peep sight this set up is pretty darn accurate for the price.
Im like you more of an opportunity muzzle loading Hunter. If I was strictly hunting ML I would probably upgrade but it...
I saw this Bull in 6A 2 years ago sitting water he just wouldn’t commit. ( not a great picture)
Big Bulls may be few and far between but they are definitely there. I hunted with an outfitter and they killed a 360+ and 380+ while I was there In the Archery season.
