    For our boys, as soon as they were old enough to come along, they would carry a pack. We had an old Gregory kids pack that was small and lightweight. Like you said, some water, snacks, wet wipes, a lighter, just the essentials and nothing heavy (or fragile!!)

    270 150gr availability - Sig Elite opinion?

    They grouped a heckuva lot better out of my son's rifle than did hornady precision hunter 150gr we also tried. My son made a good shot from about 200yds and did not hit a shoulder blade, so maybe it proves nothing, but it worked out well.
