If you get a chance work the bolt before you buy., The one I had has so much play/slop at end of a ejection cycle it would bind/lock up if it had any pressure other than straight forward. Not an issue if you work the bolt smooth and straight back/forward. I didn't have it long
I put mine in a chest pouch (Hill People Gear) There are a lot of different options available. Couldn't find a holster I liked. This keeps it secured it's still relatively fast to access and it gives me options to carry other things like keys extra ammo etc.
Man I'm not sure that's a customer service issue if it wasn't a defect and it was caused by the customer
Maybe I'm wrong. I know there are a few companies that do a no fault warranty but that seems a bit much to ask a store to replace when the damage was caused other than a defect. Kinda like...

"My dreaded customer service story from Cabelas. I needed a new pair of sunglasses so i went into my local store bought a pair from the sunglasses hut kiosk, picked out a pair of Costa’s with the glass lenses and life was good. We’ll today my toddler grabbed them off the kitchen...
If you are indeed from Montana as your location states, looks to me you should have a copy or electronic copy
Montana Code

A lot of States you are required to show proof of insurance if you are requested by legal authority. Some states do show your current insurance on the registration if it is run by law enforcement but some do not. Every state is different I would look up your states laws and then go from there...

"Were your feeding issues consistent or occasional? Happen right away or showed up later?
Asking since I’ve not had my XD-M that long and not had an issue with my 220s. But I’ve also not shot a ton of them."
The feeding issues occurred more frequently when my firearm was dirty and maybe a...
200 grain in is the sweat spot for both my Glock 29 and Glock 40mos. I've run Gizzly, Underwood and Buffalo Bore. They all cyle fine, 220 I had cycling/feeding issues.
I'll second the Hosking, I run a glock 40 mos with red dot and Streamlight TLR. It fits under my bino chest harness no issues. Quality made no problems with it at all.
I shoot Underwood, haven't had any issues, I carry them in mine. Can't really say they are better or worse than Buffalo Bore. No reliability issues regarding cycling, feeding etc. I've run them in a 6" Alpha barrel and and the factory.
When it comes to the 20 and 40 and using it for bear defense only, I really don't think sight radius will come into play. If you are shooting a bear in self defense distance to your target is not really relevant in regards to longer sight radius for a more accurate shot. The game warden might...
They have no respect for the land they hold their gatherings on.. If you have the unfortunate opportunity to be on duty or have to deal with these folks, I suggest you do it on well trained horses. It's the only way to move throughout them without them mobbing you. They love to surround you and...
