With the advent of cameras in cell phone, I have adopted the practice of taking pictures of most everything I am going to take apart when I think I might have doubts when putting it back together,
Whether opportunity increased depends on the state and the species. Here in CA we have opened a number of new sheep units over the past ~15 years which has in fact expanded opportunity.
Quick math question - if you 1) auction a tag for $300K and the entity that held and marketed the tag gets 5%...
That is a really poor analogy, to the point it is hard to modify it to make it topical to this discussion. Perhaps if you posted that the closed road was a private-public partnership, the rich payed vast amounts of money to use the private road, and those funds were used to expand transit...
It seems like you may be putting words in the mouths of the creators of the NA wildlife model, given Shane Mahoney - a noted supporter of the model - disagrees.
“While some may find this type of conservation funding contrary to the North American Conservation Model, the Model’s renowned...
No offense, but you don’t have the numbers in front of you because they likely don’t exist. You can compare the revenue from states like AZ that both auction and raffle the same tag, and the auction tags generally out-raise the raffles 3x-4x. Never mind that raffling 2 of the same tag will not...

If we are going to take discredited international sporting entities at their word, those of you who are relying on the eligibility findings of the IBA (which retroactively restored the “unbeaten” status of one of its country’s promising amateur boxers) are no doubt equally as supportive of...
It will be interesting to see what happens, but my weekly update from Morgan Stanley (just received) indicates they believe there is a very low likelihood of emergency action by the Fed.
85 is actually approaching dangerously hot for dogs, especially thick ones like a lab. We have dogs die most every year on local trails here in the Bay Area due to heat, and it seems like labs unfortunately seem to lead the list.
Endowments usually continue to bring in donations from alumni and have a consistent annual payout % for perpetuity - both very different fact patterns from individual retirement. Not to mention tax considerations.
Endowments and individuals will generally have very different financial goals, so I wouldn’t presume a strategy that is appropriate for an endowment is appropriate for an individual investor.
I usually try not to be that guy, but I tend to agree that it doesn’t look like you got the cape from your buck - and the neck measurement aspect may explain why the neck looks small. Just look at how the shite around the nose and corner of the mouth cuts from cape to cape.
Edit: the brown...
I agree. I do have a pouch on my bino harness but only to keep my RF and binocs together for travel. When I am in the field, the RF hand around my neck on a short piece of cord (just long enough to fit over my head). Much quicker to deploy and to drop when done and with less movement than using...
