Size 10.5
Good condition, still waterproof Schnee’s beartooth II 0G boots. Really nice boots, like them better than my timberlines. Unfortunately when I moved to Oregon I needed to size up due to elevation changes while hiking - my toes would jam so I ordered a size 11.
Worn but not busted...
SOLD TENT/STOVE ON OTHER SITE
SOLD LINER/NEST ON ROKSLIDE
tent comes with 18 vargo titanium nail stakes for all points and the guy outs. The tent does have two small ember holes on one door flap and a small hole from a fallen branch near the door flap. I’ve put some tenacious tape on them, The...
I hunted it in 2019 and 2020. I'm coming back this year. 300 hunters will be a lot. Keep my back to a tree!
You'll get the tag, make sure to book the ferry asap. It's a fun hunt, deer populations might be down but I bet they're still out there. I shot three in 2020.
six to seven days is...
Made it out to this cut last night that I just got access to. Sure looks Deer-y! Wind was bad so I couldn't glass into the bottoms, but I can't imagine bucks aren't utilizing this. Didn't see any deer the 45 minutes I was there before end of legal shooting light.
I found some tracks that are...
Great! I just got access to the private timberland clear cut I mentioned. So I’ll be stationed there all weekend after the 3 mile atv and hike in

Absolutely brutal.
I've seen lone does and duo does (no bucks) after shooting light nearly every night when walking back in the dark.
I bumped something on the end of the logging road, but even if it was 10' off the road there's no way I could see it through all the brush.
I rattled in a...
Did not see any fresh rubs, this is at 1,000’ at the southern end of the Willamette. That normal for this time of year?
Walked over three miles. Found a four acre patch of 20’ Doug fir intermixed with 30 yard grass openings and young Oregon white oaks. The oaks, barely 10’ tall and very “bushy”...
So far it’s been hot and dry which I read isn’t great this time of year to start things off early. 45 at night/morning and up to 80 and smoky by 2:00PM.
I’ve sat the power line cut, which was fun as I could glass some distant timberline clear cuts. Covered those well and pretty confident...
Hello Rokslide!
TL;DR: Can I call in black tails during pre-rut (what calls)? Should I walk logging roads, hunt a scrubby field bordering a ravine or a glass a long powerline cut?
I moved to Oregon and have access to a 250 acre piece of timberland that adjoins a bunch of low-pressure ranch...
Looking to buy a seek outside Divide or Goshawk with a large hip belt. I might take a Unaweep.
No tears or burns. Prefer it not to be soaked in blood.
I’d pay $350 for either. That’s a little high for a use divide and a little low for a used Goshawk.
I’d rather not wait 8 weeks as I have...
I use a red cliff, there is plenty of space. Ticks were pretty mild, I'd find a few small ones on me every day or so, never had any get on my skin though. There is Lyme on the island.
Just moved to central Oregon 30 minutes from Eugene on 18 acres. Backing up to 280 acres of Weyerhauser I have access to which was clear cut about 10 years ago. Very scrubby, lots of black berries. Weyerhauser land then connects to a lot of BLM.
Originally from Michigan, would be very...
