    Repipe: DIY?

REPIPE: DIY? (darn autocorrect) I have galvanized water pipes, house built in 1970. Water pressure is low in areas, and I have most pipes exposed (probably 50%) currently from another project. I bought the tool to do PEX type-A. I have all the current lines sketched. I am having slight second...

    22 scope - illuminated

I am looking for a 22 scope with an illuminated reticle. Would like to be in the realm of a lowest power of 3, and max of 12. (Really I will likely end up witha 2-7 or 3-9). It is going to live on a t1x, which may become my only or primary 22 rifle. Also I am an MOA guy (don't judge), so I...

    Endurance: Shackleton's South Pole

I know there are many on here that have read and enjoyed Endurance: Shackleton's Incredible Voyage by Alfred Lansing. I heard about that book on this Forum and it was one of my favorite reads. I know a lot of us on here are also podcast fans. If those are true about you, I'll recomend...

Any Mt. Bikers on here? HELP?

I am getting back to mtb (with the family) and in the NW in the winter a big thing is light. I am kinda a flashlight junkie, and I love my 21700 powered lights. So much so that I do not have many 18650's anymore. In looking for a bike light (not just for road / comuting) I am not finding much...

    quietest 22LR

I am stepping into the suppressor world. I am going to start with a 22LR can (not set on that yet) but it is FIRST for a new pistol. That got me to thinking, when I use this can on a rifle, I will either need a new barrel or a rifle that is already threaded. What is the quietest 22 LR rifle. I...

Life expectancy and resale value on Suppressor

I been wanting to get into the suppressor world for some time. I have decided to just do it. In getting through it, I got to thinking, I do not know of anyone that has bought one used. Is there resale value on these? I doubt they would, but also wondered if they wear out with age / use, like...

    Astronomy with a spotting scope

We went to my son's friends a few weeks ago and he brought out his telescope. I decided a few days back to use my spotter. Not having them side by side I cannot be sure, but my spotter (ATX 115) seemed to be on par with his telescope. IF I wanted to get a telescope for the family, is it going to...

    UFC 294

Is it more or less anticipated after the change ups this week? I am bummed that Oliveira is out. And for some reason I do not understand, I am excited to see Usman.

    Batteries: 18650 vs...

I've read a few threads on here about going to 18650 for headlamps. I am kind of a wannabe flashlight nerd. Since getting an EDC flashlight (starting with 18650's) I have had a few different ones the last 5 years or so. I have kind of become a nitecore fan. (Currently have E4K, MH25, MH10S, and...

    Red vs Blue, in UFC

I know that I can be a little OCD at times, but I have noticed this on multiple occasions... I would think that the UFC would be able to pay someone to make sure if someone is wearing blue shorts and the other one is wearing red shorts they would put them in their respective blue and red...

    'Tis the Season

Halloween decorations went down at the beginning of the month, and Thanksgiving season stuff went up. Now Thanksgiving is over and decorations coming down, and Christmas season decorations are going up. In doing this there was the very short conversation: Me: "You know we would have a lot more...

    YETI: Will it fit?

I have a YETI 160 & a 65. One downside to these is the storage when not in use. I am considering going up with the 160. Would like to do a 210, but am curious if the 65 will fit inside the 210 with the lid down. Does anyone have a 210 & a 65, that can check this for me. I never see the 210 in...

Options for Single sling stud on forend

I would like to mount a pic rail on the standard sling stud. I do not think I can drill a second hole in this stock. Though I like the spartan system, I have a bipod already (Atlas) so I do not think I need to spend that much. I want to be able to have a sling and a section of pic rail. In my...

    Mounting rings on Tikka T3x

I have Talley light rings for my Tikka... (No paperwork for either, and it ain't stolen!). Anyone know the torque range for the screws going into the Tikka Tx3 receiver? (It's a roughtech). Talley's website says check with rifle manufacturer, and Tikka's website doesn't seem to say.
