3 degrees in the morning 18 degrees for a high with 30mph winds that's cold for a Northern California boy. Still wearing a "boot" from ankle surgery. Not getting around all that great, very happy to fill my tag!
Two 67 year old guys from Northern California getting it done in Northern Nevada unit 051. We saw maybe 2 dozen bucks and killed the two best. 80+ degree days with close to a full moon and I'm still wearing this F----g boot. Very happy to fill my tag not being able to get around the hills all...
These two bucks were taken the first week of the season in 80+degree weather with close to a full moon. First light and right before last light was the only time you would see any animals up and moving. We saw right at 2 dozen bucks and killed the 2 best, big country and not many deer. Very glad...

This Caribou was from a swap hunt, Columbia Blacktail for Alaska Barren Ground Caribou. Taken about 80 miles down the peninsula from King Salmon Ak.
My son found this shed horn one morning, we looked for the better part of 2 days for the other side with no luck. A good friend had all the luck the next season by taking this great coastal A Zone buck. We did find the other side that November.
