Approaching 40k on my 2022 Tundra. It's been great. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
I think they're all pretty good trucks these days. Just go buy the one that you like the most.
I have a 2022 TRD OR and I'm coming up on 35k trouble free miles. Truck has been great. The panoramic view monitor on the TRD OR package is awesome. It has cameras all around the truck and renders an overhead view on the 13" screen.
I'll echo what a lot of folks said about the 22+ doublecab. I...
Nothing sets my back off more quickly than situps and crunches. My injury wasn't as severe as ops, but core and posterior chain strengthening have helped tremendously. If you're doing squats, deadlifts, overhead press correctly you're working your core as well as the target muscles.
I was a TA in a college welding shop for a while. We used to have trouble with those Harbor Freight helmets and the TIG machines.
Miserable situation. Feels like a bag of sand in your eyes.
We have essentially the same vehicles. The F350 will be going away soon. The Tundra is just the better rig for the majority of situations that don't involve a gooseneck.
Bigger is better. I've encountered 2 roadside fires in the last 10 years. The first one I was carrying a 2 lb extinguisher and that wasn't enough. Had to finish that one with my shovel.
The second I had a 5 lb extinguisher and it put the fire out, but I wished I had a little more juice. I carry...
A lot of things are had to compare between the trucks since my tundra is a limited and the F150 is an XL. The transmission on my tundra is nicer, but I can't say how a 2022 F150 10 speed would compare. Interior storage is better though. Dash is better. The tundra rides better too.
Tundra has...
Garmin Fenix 3 HR sapphire for me. I've been wearing it almost 5 years and it still works like new. If it ever gives up I'll replace it with whatever the current Fenix sapphire is.
Oh ya. Sometimes I can just put weight on my big toe and the nail will do that for me.
I run the smallest swiss army knife scissors down the edge of the nail as far as comfortable and clip it off. Then pull the ingrown portion out with a multitool. Sometimes it has an attachment to the root...
Rattling is popular with some guys in Southern Oregon near the end of the season. I rattled one buck in a few years ago that I wasn't able to capitalize on.
I think any of those strategies can work depending on how you want to hunt. Many blacktail have been killed by folks walking closed...
It's an allocation process, not a real factory order. Basically the dealer takes your preferred specs, refers that to the factory, and you hope they get preference on something similar.
I drove one last weekend. Really impressed.
