I have both Hard Scrabble and Mtn Extreme. The HS feels lighter at the end of the day but both are great boots, I have significantly more miles in the Mtn Extreme but the Hard Scrabble is becoming my favorite. I wear 13 wide so understand the the need for wide toe box that some of the other fine...
For me the horizontal pins seem to be my preferred choice with a multi-pin setup. A single vertical is clean but when you add a couple other aim points on the same vertical plane I seem to loose the 2nd and 3rd pins, probably something with my aging eyes. Not sure if it helps or not. I say try...
The triple stack is nice but I found myself longing for the Black Gold pins and simplicity. Sold my triple stack and went to a BG pro 3 pin. Both are bulletproof but the BG also saves a few ounces.

Sorry just checked in and saw your question. I’m currently using the Q2i Fusion X-II in a 3 degree left helical. They are Length: 3”, Height: .45”, Weight: 9.5 gr. I find they work every bit as well as a 4 fletch. I’ve shot the 2.1” version in a 4 fletch configuration and they shot well, just...
I’ve shot both of the Q2i vanes in a 4 fletch 2.1” configuration and my current 3” 3 fletch. Both shot very well no issues with either. I’ve tried both setups with a few different fixed blades, and currently shoot the QAD Exodus. The three fletch is just easier to re-flecth I do believe that...
PMs returned, not sure if my messages are going through or not on here. My Tapatalk for some reason doesn’t always send them correctly on Rokslide anyhow let’s try $325 TYD. That’s a deal on a sight that’s out of stock for the foreseeable future.

I’ve shot a Spot Hogg for several years in many configurations, from the hunter to the Fast Eddie and now I have the Tommy Hogg Triple Stack. You can’t go wrong with any of them I really like the MRT rings that help get the perfect fit between sight ring and peep alignment. The triple stack...
Head back east tomorrow, we ended our hunt with some great encounters and a better understanding of the hunt area. We saw a total of 7 bulls and not one wanted to give an opportunity for a shot. Everything was silent which to me felt the pre rut just hasn’t picked up yet. I’ll run the mountains...
We’ve hunted everything from 9k - 11k. With all the rain the area got on August 31st and 1st of September it’s been more difficult to pattern them

As I sit here in camp these mountains and the elk have put a whooping on me. Opening day called in a bachelor group of bulls that just wouldn’t commit, and it was comprised of a 6x, 5x and two 4x bulls that stayed out around 70 yards. They split and my cousin and I located the two smaller bulls...
Shot mine today and had no issues at all, plenty of windage and didn’t even have to flip the sight bracket from the factory setting. I’m shooting a VXR 31.5 and it set up quickly at 20,30,and 40. I’ll look for a sight tape this week but overall I’m very satisfied with this sight.
