What caused the Rokslide shift to smallest caliber and cartridges?

A 18-25lb 6.5cm(at the biggest) with a brake is not going to recoil much more(if at all) than a 7-10lb 223 with a can.

2915. 2995 was blowing them up when it was hot, and getting pretty good ejector swipe. 4831sc

That's what I was going for. In a 7 or 7.5 anyway. Edit to add: particularly with shorter barrels, which I forget that not everyone shoots a 16" barrel still 😅 If I were to shoot a 22-26" barrel I'd probably go with a 1:8

I've concluded that if you're blowing up 88s in a 7 twist, you're over pressure anyway. I've blown up a few, but it was only when I was loaded hot, with a hot barrel, and it was 100 degrees F.

    UM Tikka Bubble Level

I overtorqued mine like an idiot, still need to contact them about that 😅 I'm with @Jimbee, I think it's best for just levelling your gun when installing a scope. I prefer a scope mounted level when shooting

Jim Green African Ranger Barefoot Boots

Hard to make a direct comparison as I use the JGs for work boots and the vivos for hiking and shooting matches. I would say the vivos are more comfortable, but that might just be because I'm on harder surfaces with 20ish lb tool bags for 8-10 hours with my JGs.

Jim Green African Ranger Barefoot Boots

Been wearing mine on the roof 4-5 days a week since end of January, holding up pretty well. The lugs on the soles have worn down quite a bit, but that's to be expected given how grippy they are. It's a pretty soft compound, grips rocks very well. They weren't very comfortable for a week or two...

    Suppressor wrap

I do the vet wrap over carbon felt method. Shot a 2 day nrl hunter this weekend, but the end of the match, the vet wrap was kinda melty/sticky and gross. Simple to slide the whole thing off, cut the vet wrap, and replace.

Yep, shooting Price this weekend. Shot a 1 day hunter last weekend, wasn't a huge problem. Definitely takes some getting used to though. Hardest part is not reaching for my belt to grab a mag, but on my bino harness.

I took my NRL hunter gun out of a KRG bravo and put it in the rokstok. I've put around 150 rounds through it in the rokstok, and I would say they perform nearly identically, but the rokstok is half the weight. Went from 11lbs 14oz with no bipod to 11lbs 6oz with a bipod. Suppressed 6.5cm, so it...

Email from January 17. Obviously things happen and not all promises can be kept, but it was definitely worded more strongly than just a goal. Plus it should have been apparent that 90 days wasn't going to happen by the end of march at the latest. I got my stock and I am happy with it, so I'm...

Got my rokstok painted up today! Decided I wanted just a little longer lop to match what I'm used to, so I threw a KRG recoil pad on there, got a little extra height out of it too. The grip dimensions feel more natural than anything I've ever shot.
