so to edit my previous post. Spoke with MR today. Beartooth in L/M foliage is expected end of april early may. Pop up 28 in Disolve L/M is expected same time. Pop up 28 in Foliage L/M expected in late May for the M and August for the Foliage.
I asked them a month or so ago about availability of pop up 28 and the new packs and they said mid Feb and mid March....waiting to see...

When I talked with MR customer service, they made it seem like they would have plenty buckles on hand to "warranty" out old bags. I believe they are SJ autolocks as far as brand, but have struck out on finding them through another source
Posted on another thread, but then realized this was the actual sale thread,
Any thoughts on whether you'll be able to make a sling for the new MR frames? Dont have one in hand yet, but thinking i'll be ordering one here in another month or two, and just looking ahead
The meat shelf is built into the bag. the bag sits away from the frame and creates the "shelf". As far as height above, someone else will have to comment on that. From the buddies bag I've looked at, it didnt seem bad at all.
I'd bet that they will sell just the frame next year
Also, been doing some more looking, and looks like they are using the same buckles on the pop up 28 and 18, so as far as durability, anyone with access to either of those could get a hand on the buckles.
Hmm....brings a pretty big question to my mind, why didn't they make that change on everything else, or use the lighter material to begin with...
Really wish you could buy the updated belt and put it on an old frame.

My inclination is it is not an upgrade on the buckles, simply a business strategy. Upgraded frame, but make sure it's not easily backwards compatible and then you can sell a kit.

"The Beartooth and Sawtooth will not be available in camo patterns this year. This could change in the future, but it's just coyote and foliage for 2019.
The old and existing bags will not fit on the new Guide Light MT Frame, but we may be releasing a buckle kit that would allow you to re-kit...
Heard back from them the other day regarding new frame. Said for now it will only be available with the new model packs, but starting next year they will be moving exclusively to this guide lite MT as they are calling it. Really cant wait until someone gets their hands on one of these new packs...
What about the new beartooth or sawtooth that they are supposed to be coming out with....Anyone know anything more about them? look to be about the size of this set up, but more organization internally....may be something for a separate thread however.
