CZ Scout, lightweight, short length of pull, it's designed for kids to use.
Then as they get bigger, you have a multitude of stock and barrel options to upgrade it into something that will keep them interested in shooting, instead of a 'little kids gun'
I like my 58" recurve, it's worked well for me and I find it comfortable to shoot with my 27.5" DL.
My 64" RD longbow and 53" recurve are fun but have drawbacks, the 64" is cumbersome in the bush and the 53" is tricky to shoot accurately.
I'm a big fan of the Fenix watches, the different faces, colours an font sizes make it super easy to set up so I can read it without glasses.
My 42mm Fenix 5S was cheap as it's an old model now, its similar in size to my G-Shocks and even after many years is still looking and working great...
Every so often I intentionally spend a night out with either my belt survival kit or my day pack.
It's always close enough to my vehicle that I could pull out if need be but I quite enjoy testing myself and haven't bugged out yet.
And it always reminds me how much I love my comfortable tents...
I have both the Black Hunter recurve and an EXE F261 ILF recurve.
Both affordable Chinese made bows that have a good reputation.
I like the light weight, compact size and feel of the Black Hunter.
The F261's length/weight is more stable, it's very tunable and there's plenty of ILF limb options...
Yeah not quite, that's 6ah @ 18v so a LOT more than just a single charge, for me with my 3,800mah phone it's almost 5 charges with a 5v USB adapter.
Here's a little more info from here...
I'm a fan of the Chiappa Little Badger, the open sights and the sight rail are both of poor quality.
My mate has fitted some steel sights off another rifle which are far more durable.
It's light and easy to use, definitely small game accurate and with a suppressor it's proper quiet
I'm a confirmed Howa Mini fan, it's been a great project rifle with so many aftermarket options that are nice to have, but none of them were must haves.
I used it bone stock for the first two years and it was great apart from the flexy stock.
The latest versions have a flush mag release so if...
A flip flop is certainly the easiest way to find a suitable foam, I found a pair free in some promotion and there's enough foam to do 4 butt pads.
I glued mine on with a contact cement, there's a decent weight saving for very minimal cost and its holding up fine
I've long admired that rifle since I first saw those pictures, something like 10 years ago.
What an ultimate, imagine the fun that could be had in amongst a herd of small hogs
If youre happy with your current rings and don't want to use a pic rail, how about shimming the rear ring higher and then lapping them?
Or if you're happy to use a pic rail but conscious of extra weight, how about having some creative milling done on the rail to remove metal where it's not...
I'd be trying it without the can, sometimes they can add weird harmonics IMO.
I have a CZ .17HMR barrel that was grouping horrendous with any ammo despite trying a few easy fixes like different barrel/action torque settings.
No evidence of baffle strikes in the can.
Finally I thought to...
I liked my stock HACT trigger but when I was offered a Timney for a really good price I jumped on it and don't regret it all.
It's not sooo much better that I'd pay full retail for the Timney
I've always preferred sleeping in the back of my truck for a multitude of reasons, #1 been ease of set up and pack up means I can hunt later and get out there earlier in the morning.
It's also peace of mind that no matter how bad the weather turns, the truck is gonna be drier/quieter than a...
Regularly with an aluminum suppressor, I use a decent quality electrical tape, just a single layer over the end.
No pressure issues or any extra build up inside the suppressor as the tape just blows out when the shot goes off.
