Idk about the Colorado. But I have a 2024 1500 with the 3.0 Zr2 Bison edition and love it!! The Zr2 handles much better than just the standard suspension.
Yeah..it's definitely not going to be a walk in the park! I live here in Anchorage. So hopefully I can get some scouting time in around the other seasons
Terrible! I turned it all into Jerkey..it had a very pungent taste. I didn't get sick off of it. It didn't give me any issues come out the back end.. it just tasted terrible!!. Jerkey was the way to go to not let it go to waste.
Welcome grew up in Indiana and now reside in Alaska for the next couple years. Be careful once you hunt the mountains you will always want to go back.
I do miss hunting hard wood river bottoms though.

Recoil on a 7mag suppressed is next to nill. I a big fan of no such thing as too much power when it comes to elk. I have a 20" 7mag. 16" didn't give me the velocity I wanted for my application. I prefer a flatter shooting rifle. I have post somewhere talking about how much FPS you loose with...

Still fairly new and trying to fully understand the regs. So don't fully comprehend but I think I got understand what your saying.
The issue with that for my particular situation is the trail I'm planning on going up can only be accessed by 4 wheeler, sxs, or well built off road rigs. There zero chance I'm letting my wife take my jeep up and down that trail.
