    Croatia Brown Bear

Just curious if anyone has hunted Croatia for brown bears? I was on a SCI auction the other night and ended up purchasing a 2x1 hunt for brown bear in Croatia.

    Nissan Titan PRO-4X

I have one of the Nissan Titan XD Diesel Platinum Reserve as a truck in our companies fleet. I bought it due to getting a great buy. I'll be honest I've drove it a good bit (probably 10,000 miles) and I like it better than my Ford Platinum. We haven't had any problems out of it at all and have...

    Frank Church Wilderness Spring Bear

We had an awesome trip. Seen a ton of elk, plenty of mule deer, a few sheep and even some goats. Seen 0 bear and 0 wolves. Temps ranged from high 80's the first few days all the way down to the 30's the up high the last couple days. Absolutely rugged country but manageable if your willing to put...

    Anyone using mecate reins?

Sure, tying up you would have to take a halter. I was just thinking it would be mighty handy for quick stops, etc

    Anyone using mecate reins?

I was sitting here thinking about different tack and wondered how many folks are using a mecate setup? Seems like it would be handy for the backcountry by having a built in leadrope for use while riding. Obviously would still have to have a different setup for high lining, etc...

Trespassing / Posting Public Land Stories

A few years ago on one of my farms in Kentucky we had a deal that takes the cake on any encounter I have ever had. It was opening weekend of bow season and my farmhand at the time and me had hunted another farm that morning. So for the afternoon hunt we were walking about 3/4 a mile back to were...

Thanks for the info. After talking with a few different sources I believe we are looking at flying into either Thomas Creek or Cabin Creek. Also going to push the hunt forward by a few weeks.

Where to start with trail cams?

I have had super good luck out of Moultrie and Browning cameras. I feel Moultrie's picture quality is better for the most part. I usually leave my cameras out year round (used for farm equipment security in off season). I have some Moultrie cameras that I have had since 2013 that are still going...

    Getting back in shape

Long story short about 10 years ago I was in super good shape, running anywhere from 15-20 miles a week and working out several times a week. Since getting out of the military 10 years ago I haven't exercised since. With that being said I maintain a very active lifestyle (I farm for a living)...
