Kuiu pants
Been wearing Tiburons in SE Idaho for archery elk the past 8 years or so. If it's a cold morning I wear a pair of zip off Kuiu merino wool long johns and drop the pants to my ankles to remove them when it warms up. They have held up well. -

Mississippi State University has been doing extensive research since the mid 1970's. There is a wealth of information on their website. The have pod cast to that you can easily download and listen to also. I am pretty sure they are recognized nationally as one of the leaders on deer research.- john2

Idaho Diamond Creek A Elk tag swap/refund
Good to know, thanks for posting this. This is the exact situation I am in right now. 2 of the 4 of us got a tag and it has put us in a bind. Have been hunting here with my brother every year since 2006 so it is very disappointing but life goes on lol. Regards, John -

Probably would have been 5 minutes if the computer system wasn't jammed up. 4 in our group and only 2 got tags, I'm sick, been hunting Diamond Creek since 2006. 2020 Elk tags and after last year's sell out and Idaho's push to create a premium on there tags by constantly reminding everyone... -

Bugs/Idaho/Sept?
My brother and I have hunted SE Idaho since 2006 in September archery season and only issue we have ever had, as mentioned in prior post, is with bees while trying to clean the elk. Non biting flies can be a aggravation in the middle of day depending on temps. -

You are correct sir and I mentioned that a later post, actually the one just above yours. I had no problem getting my tag but when my son tried the Diamond Creek didn't show up, so after a call to the IDF&G and them saying they must be sold out already I assumed that was the reason. Turns out...
