I can provide my limited insight. The Barnes TEZ and their non sabot option (I forget the name) shoot really well out of my Knight ultralight. My complaint and the common one you’re likely to hear, is the lack of expansion you may experience with them. I’ve only been on a few muzzleloader hunts...

I have a Vortex Razor HD, 16-48X65 Angled spotting scope that I would like to sell. I purchased this scope new and in what I believe was 2014. Scope is in great condition and has seen very little use. Package includes original box and full zip cover. Asking $650 plus shipping. Let me know.

Yes sir, bare 209. I have checked them after some of the mis-fires and on some there wasn’t any sign of the hammer striking the primer. On others there appeared to be a small mark. Backing the firing pin assembly a turn and a half back did result in less misfires, but it still wasn’t 100%
Thank you Sabotloader. I’m at work until Thursday but will try this as soon as I can. I’ll report back. I leave for CO in a week and the timing of this issue couldn’t be worse. I hate not having confidence in my equipment

After a recent range session I disassembled my bolt assembly, removing the firing pin. While re-assembling the bolt with the firing pin I somehow released the tension within the spring. I was able to tighten it back down and get it re-assembled but now after my last range visit I was having...
The Barnes TEZ shoot really well out of my Knight ultralight. I ordered some full bore Thor’s recently to use in CO and I’m hoping they shoot as well the sabots.
Don’t count on having the time to deploy a tripod while elk hunting. In my limited experience shots can be quick and elk always seem to be moving. That being said, I do have an Outdoorsmans V mount that fits my tripod head. It has helped me have an elevated rest for somewhat closer shots in a...
I experienced the same thing recently working up a load in my 6 Creed. I saw a drop of 20 FPS over six shots going from 44 gr H4350 to 44.4 gr H4350. My seating depth though with my higher charge was seated out .01” closer to the lands, comparing it to a prior load. I didn’t see any pressure...
