I am in the same boat as you and have recently switched to a button. I have the UV Hinge II and the UV button. I practice with both and have definitely seen great improvement. Get comfortable with the hinge and use the same shot process for the button. It has been great for me so far. Good luck!
Going to agree with what devinhall said. Also, I run the V3X 33 with lo pro quiver and have my epsilon run to the top limb. No contact whatsoever.

Just wanted to follow up on this one if you haven’t decided yet. I have the v3x 33 with the 2 piece fixed Mathews lo pro quiver.
I mounted the epsilon and ran the activation cord to my top limb and timed it according to Devin Hall’s advice. Nothing touches and it is solid as a damn rock...
I will let you know about the contact soon.
I have the V3X 33, epsilon, and 2-piece Mathews low pro quiver. I am going to be timing my rest based on Devin Hall's advice over at Hamskea. I am pretty sure that I should be good to go. Stay tuned...
I personally have shot multiple and witnessed multiple bears shot with brenneke slugs. They are a bad dose. I haven’t seen a bear tote one yet. Feel free to shoot me a pm for more info.

I only use one gunsmith and he happens to be someone that I grew up with and knew loooong before he started making rifles. Lucky because I knew the kind of person I’d be dealing with.
He is so peculiar he still has the same pair of limited edition boots he’s owned since 9th grade and they...
I have always felt like no matter what it was, sports, work, or hunting; if I put in the work and do my best to prepare, I am anxious beforehand but calm by the time the hunt is underway. There is comfort in knowing that win or lose I did everything in my power to put myself in a position to be...
If he couldn’t see you, he may have gotten a response or heard a sound from you that made him wary. Which in turn caused him to circle the downwind side.

Been shooting every day.
I usually take one cold shot in the morning before work then think about that shot all day. Shoot a little more when I get home from work, then usually I will switch gears to something else. I’ll take one more “cold” shot at last light before I go in for the evening...
Totally agree. I wouldn't imagine that TAC has a proprietary formula in their pen and glue, but maybe they do...First time trying these and for the amount of extra effort involved in making them stick, I haven't seen a performance value there that has made it worthwhile.
Also, they claim to be...
Anyone having issues with TAC vanes adhering?
My process for putting them on has been to clean the shaft and use an AAE pen on the fletching before I apply AAE max bond vane glue (VERY thin coat on the vane). Using a bitz jig to a Gold Tip Pierce Platinum. Had very few if any issues with...
I have a very well respected friend and mentor trainer who is in his 70s and has dedicated his life to dogs and dog training.
He once told me “when you get a dog you have to go into it with the understanding that HOPEFULLY you will out live them.”
Really sucks losing one no matter how you...
I would manually raise the rest with your finger and trip it manually by “releasing” the pressure without having to draw the bow.
Let’s say that it works flawlessly over and over when you put the pressure on it “manually” or not by the draw cycle of the bow. This tells you that the string that...
