Shed closure Utah Feb 7th to April 30th
If you really wanted to relieve pressure on wildlife you'd have to stop every sort of recreation on the winter range. Yes in theory this will stop some harassment from specific groups of humans but it will not stop all harassment and pressure. -
Idaho Tag Site Already Crashed

Wyoming 90/10 for elk
I just want to know why states prop up the outfitters so much? Is it because someone who will book with an outfitter is more likely to pay more for a tag and spend more in their local economy than a DIY guy? Like are they trying to bring in a niche of hunters that want to burn more money? -

I read it as you got the elk combo but didn't get the deer combo. Retained meaning you keep your points. Released in that you gave up your points to get that tag -

In the home state of nevada, I only focus on 1 species at a time in a specific unit. This year thou in montana I will at least have a general elk and general deer tag, or a general deer tag and a LE elk permit. Plan will be to chase elk but if a buck is spotted in a good spot, I would not... -
