    Sitka Mountain Optics Harness

    I also run outdoor vision and agree 100%, the way this Sitka harness opens seems very cumbersome to me. I do like that cell phone pocket on the back though. I had asked outdoor vision to sew something like that on mine, but they said they couldn't. I diy'd one myself using an old passport holder.

    Field lab. They are the #1 working dog in the world for a reason. Highly trainable with an intense drive that they can leave at the office when it's time to relax at home. I have a friend with a grouse camp that he's been hunting out of for 40 years. He's owned and hunted over more gun dogs...

I also heard a guy on meat eater podcast the other day say he hired a packer to pack him and his buddy 15 miles in on a high country WA public land muley hunt for $800. Not sure if that was total or per person, but even per person...

    thanks for the response. 100# is more than enough and more than I thought, my pack only weighed around 60# this past season. Would be nice though to bring a little better food and not have to eat mtn house every meal.
