montana unit 420-15

Unit 420 I hunted in 420 in November. Was only in unit for 3 days but saw elk each day. We were lucky enough to have snow, which makes a huge difference. Without snow above them, (higher up the drainage), to push them down,there might not be many in the unit. Was able to kill a medium 6 point...

What are your elk plans for 2012?

Checked on net today. Said I did not draw for tag in 447-20 or for combo tag .??

Was informed I did not draw mt deer/elk combo. But heard they had leftover tags. How is this possible?
