Guys getting the Octopeak, have you order with two doors or sod skirt version with single door? Any regrets in choosing either? In the winter, paired with an inner and stove, two doors doesn't make sense, but in fair weather, two would sure be nice. I'd welcome people's experiences with them, so...
Thanks for the photos of this bag, thought about changing to this from my Avail for a little more room as my everyday/commuter bag and also for day-hunts. I opted for Access bag attachment for the moment, but looks like it'll hold quite a bit for many situations.
Agree with everyone, it's a tough one to beat. I bounce between it and Quivalizer... it's hard to put it away just because it does such a great job of holding arrows and it's low profile.
I've debated the same thing, currently own the 6900 and I plan on keeping it. I was annoyed by the excess fabric of outer baffle pockets, but practically once you put anything in the main bag, that annoyance goes away. I like to run all my rain gear in one side pocket to keep it easily...
I'd second McKinnon for quick tutorials. Has a few good videos with just some short-cuts and quick ideas. I also follow Chris Eyre-Walker and he does some more in-depth tutorials as well.
Welcome from a fellow Minnesotan! I have mostly hunted whitetail from the try using a shotgun but recently started from the ground or saddle with bow and love it. Been playing the point and OTC game for western hunts now and can't wait to start bringing my kids.
Have a barely used Lefty Tight Spot quiver in black for $100 tyd and an ACE Ripcord Rest for $90 tyd. You'll need a new cable for rest, but other than that both are in great shape.
