We went to Harding county For archery, our 6th year, Oct. 18-26th with 3 Guys, Snow storm hit 20th with 6 ", A large part of The Nat. Forest had been logged so that caught us off guard, saw 5 times more hunters than previous years so we hunted where others weren't, most of them packed-up...

We will be going,(3 of us) I'll have to hunt public/School property which is no big deal,I know the area well enough, the two that had put in for time off in Sept. will not be going as they're locked in!
Two out of three drew, me being the odd one out, two others got screwed with the late change in start date for non-resident, they're going fishing guess as they were locked in to their vacation dates for the last week in sept. They're pretty bummed!

I'll be disappointed if the Oct. 1st archery season opener is implemented this year as some of us are in a position that we need to put in for vacation 6,7,8 months in advance, my time off has been approved for the last week and a half of Sept. this fall.
