I enjoy our bundok/riley little amigo as well. We had a snowtrekker outfitter before that and it was nice too, but the design change on the WRTL models
with less poles needed and especially the vertical stovepipe made me change. They are great tents.
The 4 dog stove is on my wishlist for sure!!
Here are a few more from this year...
A quick camp on my daughter's successful muzzy deer hunt.
Not camp exactly, but arriving at the trailhead for archery elk this fall. We get on the trail so much quicker with prepacked panniers!
Digging this haven xl hammock and it works equally...
I use the mini in combination with a jackery 1000+ and panels, a generator, or some smaller power packs/smaller panels. It has helped me get out more and take advantage of remote work to extend my time in the field. Wifi calling works great, zoom calls and the like no problem. I have never...
I am using a big sky international footprint. It is a tyvek materiel and hooks in at the same corner points as the inner and outer tent does. It does not cover the floor of the vestible.

No issues for me with the clips. I have always run the tent with the footprint attached and feel it is cheap insurance. I would not run it without a footprint as the material is light. I have always ran a footprint on any tent I pack in and this one needs the footprint. I don't ever seperate...
I live in Utah. Very much against all these state land grab attempts. If it ever went through, it will only lead to reduced public use and enjoyment, privatization, over-development with new roads, etc. We have few enough wild places already.
I agree. After splintering a couple carbons, I went back to aluminum and have stuck with that. It is nice to bend aluminum back where carbons would break. I fall in the cheap aluminum camp and don't mind a heavier pole.
Thanks to all of you for your replies and suggestions. I have been reading up on Carnivore, but need to learn more on that and decide if I can be that restrictive long term. I am running keto on my own while the fam eats unrestricted so it takes a bit of extra planning, but Carnivore is not...
Hello all,
This year, I decided it was time to get in better shape with a goal to drop 75 lbs.
I went with a keto diet to jump start the process. I had done keto with some success several years ago. I just call it the man snack diet as there is a lot of meats, cheeses, nuts, oils, butter...
Its been years now, but I couldn't find one that would fit me comfortably with a 21" torso and provide any lifter angle. If you run into that, get a cheap one, gut the suspension and lash it to a frame that actually fits you.
Here was ours lashed to a Duplex frame. I left the kickstand that...
I know this is a couple years old, but I just had a really good 1st night sleep in my new haven xl. I needed to make a quick round trip to Colorado to pick up some llamas so decided to take the haven and string it up in the stock trailer wherever I stopped for the night.
I definitely could...
I have 14 points as well and decided to just go hunt this year as I get no closer in the unit I was chasing every year. I applied for a unit that takes far fewer points, but has decent elk numbers and lots of roadless areas. I will scout a few times this summer and head in with the pack string...
