    I hear you on that. I definately don't have the time or money to test this stuff out. It would be a lot of fun though. I just use the online calculators figure out the best setup and go from there. Ensure my FOC and spine is good and call it good from there. I'm not hunting elephants.

    There is a huge thread on archery talk where a guy has tested a ton of broadheads and so far the Ulmer Edge is the only one to blow through the test medium. Best penetration so far out of like 30 heads.

    KE vs. Momentum

    I disagree. I've shot at and through a lot of buildings etc and I can tell you that a 7.62mm round penetrates much further through brick, mortar, metal and man dress than a 5.56mm round does.

    I have heard that they are the sharpest head on the market. But unless someone gives me some free ones I won't switch from Slick Tricks. I have also heard most G5 Montec guys who try the VPA never go back.

    2012 Whitetail hunts.....

    I will be chasing Whitetails in Northern New York with the bow on Ft. Drum. Already got some trail cans out and some new spots picked out to hang some stands amongst some oaks. Also in the back of the house will set up a ground blind on an alfalfa field. Can't wait to Swhack some deer.

    Any updates or reviews on the ulmer heads yet. Looking at getting these for my wife for whitetails. She is shooting a 355 grain arrow at 235 fps so about 44 KE. Hoping to bump up to 50lbs of draw so same arrow except 245 fps and 47lbs of KE. Is this enough to push this arrow? It has the same...
