"Bowhunting Modern Elk" by petersons and Patrick Mieten is awesome. He gives good perspective on what bowhunting was like in the "good old days" with older equipment etc before he digs into the technical side. Great book.

Has anyone tested this setup in a backcountry backpacking scenario or ran it at all? I know it technically seems to be marketed for tree stand hunters like the old Downpour stuff (Thunderhead is more durable according to Sitka) but its quiet and packs up fairly well. I've looked at cloudburst...
