If you need the stove, I'd get the biggest one they have as they're still relatively small. You'll be putting wood in it every hour to hour & 1/2 or it will burn out. With 2 guys and the stove and our gear the tent was pretty full. If you have 3 guys, the gear may have to be outside. Just my...
The focus of this line is light weight. They make plenty of wood stock rifles, the Vangusrds in wood are under $1,000 with a sub MOA guarantee. They do weigh more.
I saw this relatively new Weatherby being advertised. Available in several calibers, the 280 AI weighs 5.8 lbs with a price of $1,649. If I didn't already have a lightweight 280 AI, I'd jump on this...
Very nice rig. It would have to weigh a lot to be shooting 115 grains of BH209. I shoot 70 grains in my TC Bone Collector and it really jumps. Very accurate with the Barnes TEZ 290 gr.

Good luck in the future. I did a guided archery hunt in Colorado in 2022. There were 13 hunters in camp. Some were guided, some weren't. One who was guided, had a shot and killed a cow elk. The weather was exceptionally warm. I'm following in the hopes of doing another guided archery hunt in the...
Hunted Colorado 3rd rifle 4 years ago. Hiked up 2 miles from the Maripose trailhead and camped. Went a couple days early to scout. Was 50 to 60 degrees for the first 3 days then snowed for 5 days straight. I think there was 18 inches of snow and 17 degrees at night. Had the exact tent in one of...
I'm 67 and planned on being retired by now but divorce screwed that up. Split in December of 2007. Over the next 8 years paid $250k in alimony. The ex stayed in my house during those 8 years. I couldn't pay for a place to live, alimony, child support and the mortgage. She didnmake 1 payment to...
Coffee around 7:30 then breakfast around 10/10:30. Mix it up with Greek plain 0% yogurt with blueberries, banana, honey and Granola or oatmeal with an egg stirred in or a piece of rye toast with avocado on it and a fried egg or 2 on it. Sometimes bacon or leftover steak.

I would say that the weight would be the more consistent measure, but you're going to verify so please let us know. I use BH209 also and haven't had to buy it for awhile. I measure out all my powder and I use 73 gr. Gives me 1845 fps with a Barnes 290 gr.
