Lizard litter in a vibratory tumbler for a couple hours. Sometimes I'll just wipe down the cases with rubbing alcohol if just reloading a small batch. Have considered wet tumbling with pins but it seems like a pain.
Tikkas aren't slow. 147 eldm with 41-42 grains of H4350 or RL16 will be the easy button. This is 11 or 12 rounds (can't remember exact #) through my ctr on a H4350 pressure ladder. Orange dot is .1 mil for reference. Consistent 5-shot groups in the .4s with 41.5 h4350.
I'd definitely experiment with other bullets. Both of those won't be the easiest to get to shoot. Hornady eldm and berger classic hunter have always been better for me in tikkas.
.02" off lands. Can't remember overall but definitely longer than 2.7". There'd be some major compression at 49.2. May be fine in different brass. Velocity was 3050 at 48.7 from a 22" tube, which Hodgdon lists 3050 at 49.2 from a 24". I know, I know, another slow tikka...
Brand new, never fired, never mounted. $165 shipped to lower 48. Link to Aero's site:
