That's a bummer for sure. I've owned several Athens bows, always enjoyed shooting them. The customer service was great too.

I believe you're correct. You can try it and return it if you don't like it.
I will add too that Option Archery has a fantastic warranty. I dropped my bow out of a tree two years ago, and it landed directly on the molded hood of the quivalizer. The fall broke the hood and bent the quick...
In my experience, stabilizers made a difference when I got about 15" out front. The crossroads stabilizers are high quality. Here is a mount that I have used from Amazon. There are certainly higher quality mounts, but this will get you in the game.

IQ sights are mediocre at best. The ones I have owned or set up for others have been prone to moving after being set. The movements are stiff and difficult to get fine adjustments with.
The retina lock is a gimmick and tends to divert your attention from your shot sequence.

The HPG prairie belt will work on Kifaru frames. You just won't be able to put the whole frame sheet in the belt. Just leave the webbing that covers the stays from attaching to the back of the frame. Then, just slide the stays into the pockets on the prairie belt.

Loosen the screw that holds your scope housing dovetail and slid it up. All your other pins will change to but it's the only way to get that top pin up, if that's what you need. Remember to always follow the arrow when making sight adjustments.

I ordered some jeans to try. I do know that the stealth wool ninja hoody has become my favorite base layer/mid layer.

I don't believe that having a micro adjust makes a rest more prone to failure. The lock down screws are still the same they just have an extra micro adjustment knob.
Having micro isn't necessary, you're right, but it does make tuning a heck of a lot easier. Not having to worry about the rest...
I've done the kit for one bow and then did the a la carte option for another. If you are looking to reduce the weight, it's not enough of a significant difference to tell. At least it wasn't for me. I bought the kit because I dislike my bolts rusting, and for that purpose, it's great. The hollow...
The EZ green is the best press for the money. I've had mine for probably 5 years, and it's been worth every penny. You don't need the powered model either. All you have to do is grab an impact driver with the right size socket for the nut holding on the hand crank and voila, You have a press...
Strong work! I'm working on an idea for a pack with similar capabilities, i.e. not having to tale the pack off when I get to the tree.
