    Harvester EVO for $394.15!

Guess I'll call again tomorrow. Ordered on 1/10. No online updates. Have yet to get a hold of anyone there who has been competent enough to give me a real update as to what is the hold up. Glad to hear at least some folks are getting their smoothly.

    Harvester EVO for $394.15!

Has anyone not gotten their order that is being shipped to an FFL? I ordered mine on 1/10. Still shows awaiting shipment. I've called Freedom several times an never gotten anyone who can "provide info on the online orders" or knows what is the hold up... My understanding was the transfer to...

    50 Cal Elk Bullet

I shot a cow last year with the 250gr Thor at 115yds. She stood for 30 seconds then dropped in her tracks. Wasn't a complete pass thru, but thru a couple ribs and bullet was right against the skin on the far side...granted a bull is bigger, but based on my limited experience I wouldn't hesitate...

Matt Rinella Speaks to Pope and Young

I listened to it and follow/listen to some of the hunt quietly things. He makes a lot of good points....however my sense of humour and his are definitely different. The last minute of his presentation about that "hunt warz" joke just completely lost me and ended an otherwise great speech on a...

    Sea to Summit temp rating

I have an older sea to summit trek tkII 30 degree comfort, 18 degree lower rating I picked up used. I used that bag heavily for a couple years. Ratings seemed pretty spot on. I had a mediocre pad (klymit insulated) and was comfortable down to mid/ even lower 20s with a beanie. Sometimes I'd toss...

    Your favorite print *hunting* magazine?

Field Ethos... honestly one of the few magazines I've read cover to cover in a long time. Some well written stories and nice pictures. Not just focused on hunting tho Still enjoy thumbing thru Bugle as well

    Blackhorn and primers

You definitely want the magnum primers. I tried the federal 209 primers and they "hung" significantly more than the CCI magnum primers

"Sell" me on your outdoors smart watch

I have the Garmin forerunner 935. I got it for tracking workouts and training for races. I wish the heart rate sensor was better for CrossFit style workouts but thats a limitation of any wrist monitor. It's ok for tracking miles hiking/hunting but it eats the battery so I don't use that all the...

    Colorado Wolf survey

The political climate of CO doesn't help. The governor and other office holders meddling in CPW business. Submitting comments is great but seems comments consistently fall on deaf ears.

Did any NonRes NOT apply for 2023 Wyoming elk?

Nope. This was going to be the year when I had it all planned out my hunting strategy a few years ago...but just had a baby and now a wedding in Europe in September so I'll have to wait a few more years.

    Remi on Rogan

And some could argue that what Rogan does isn't hunting...but yes if I had the money to afford it I'd do the same type of hunts he does. Remi would be a cool dude to hang out with, but yes he's not the best at spinning a yarn.

WTS Martin Tigress - Women's Bow

$150 Martin Tigress Women's Bow. Brand new Vapor Trail strings, peep, and whisker biscuit installed by RMS Gear in Denver (receipt to prove if needed). 3 pin sight. This bow is ready to shoot/hunt. I set it up for my wife and her draw length ended up being too short. Draw length adjustable...

    Cooper tires

On my second set of Cooper ST Maxx's on my Ran 1500. Got about 57k miles out of the last set. No complaints. Great off-road and don't mind them on road at all. Do ok thru the CO winters as well.
