Love mine. Beat the heck out of it kayak duck hunting. The only problem I’ve had is the recoil spring and tube got real rusty after hunting before work and not getting it drained right. Replaced both and good to go.
and you're the guy with like a 34" draw if I remember correctly! I've also not had a single issue with either aluminum or brass HITs but it's interesting to see other options come out
I get there before first light before work to scout see where theyre going for the first flight without spooking them. When I have more time scouting mid morning like you said can be good too as they’re hanging out where they want to be. Just be careful not to flush them if you can. I use binos...
You can put other stuff in a case with firearms. I stuff my cases to 49# and wrap my bow or rifle with clothes and sleeping bag for padding. Sometimes flying with just a bow I’ll bring and declare a handgun so I can lock my case
3" 1 1/4oz 2's for everything! Works close, works a bit farther or when it's windy or when you clipped a bird and need your third shot to drop them. Works for woodies/teal/big ducks/geese, great compromise.
With WY archery antelope set to open tomorrow, how many of yall will be corner crossing?
Are there still any open legal concerns? Does this apply to all of WY checkerboard, or only the southern pathway for the railroad grants?
