Second look, appears it's not. Luckily I have a local smith that can do it very reasonably. Good catch. Thanks!

I handled a 223 at Cabelas today and thought it seemed to go the full length? It was busy and I only had a minute to take my turn fingering a rifle.
I saw this product -

Seems like it might address the throw length concern. Has anyone...
I've got 2 days to 'pull the trigger' on a T3X to get in on the rebate.
I'm wanting a 223 trainer, I'm looking at the T3X lite 16" threaded (pointed out to me it is not threaded, I have a local smith that can thread it) 8 twist 223. This would be my first Tikka.
I'm having serious mental...
I have a lone peak fuzion I really like. Also built a lightweight rifle on a Piece Titanium that has really impressed me. Worth a look, if you are considering other options
@Formidilosus
Reviving a very old thread here, with the increase in popularity of suppressors and subsonic loads, any improvement for options for subsonic hunting? Or still basically an inferior option for terminal performance?
I've used the Seekins .82 30mm rings before with good luck. I haven't seen the .750 APAs in stock lately.

With a 9.125 I'd be looking hard at the 95 gr TMK. They've been out of stock for a while, but I understand Sierra is doing a run towards the end of this year, should be on shelves at the beginning of 2025
@General RE LEE That's a really sharp looking rifle. How do you like the Howa action? I am drawn to the mini length. I've heard mixed opinions on them. I've heard Unknown is going to start doing builds with them, which is very interesting.
6mm Creed
Does great with 70-110 gr bullets. Great for coyotes - deer and many use it for Elk and sheep effectively. Very easy to load for, great options for rifles, factory ammo, and reloading components
