Ethanal gas will tear those gas lines up. When I was an Ag service manager we sold Stihl saws. My saw guy had a box of those fuel lines on his bench. When a poorly running saw came in he would change that fuel line and 95% time it would fix the problem.
Out of state hunting is for horns, fun, and a new experience. If I don't find the horns I am looking for, then I eat tag soup. I would rather do that, then explain why I shot a dink.
Well I use a rather unique setup that the experts say isn't cool enough. I use a Primos Trigger Tripod 18"-26" with a Manfrotto 391RC2 head on it. I have a KOWA 99S that I use. The reason I use it rather than a standard tripod is if I need to change elevation of the scope with sitting all I have...
Only bad thing I will say about the Zeiss Conquest HD is I had two of them. I found that when temps get below zero the power ring gets so stiff that you can hardly turn it. You get to -25 it will quit working all together. I sent both in to Zeiss with a request to either put a lighter oil on the...
I have used the Nova Grades since they came out. Started with the single clamp and upgraded to the dual clamp when they were introduced. What is nice about them is their versatility. I can have my phone locked in, but if somebody else wants to put their phone on I just remove mine and install...
Hey Customweld, did they have Moon Pass open? We were there the last week of June and they had Moon Pass closed trying to clean up the rockslide. I had 14 SxS's on that trip, we were staying in Wallace and had several trips planned that included going over Moon Pass. Had to change two of them...
You will love the humps. Been to both of them several times. We had reservations to Redfish Lake at Stanely, but those plans went up in smoke. I guess we will extend our stay around Burgdorf longer.
MNGrouser your story sounds like one of my travel stories. Back in the late 70's when I was racing snowmobiles a friend of mine wanted to go with me so we left SE Washington in the afternoon and headed to West Yellowstone. I think it was in the middle of December. We were about 60 miles north of...
Because you can text back and forth and they can follow your movements. Also when you text, Zoleo will try and send it through cell service first and if no signal then will send it to the satellites. So you are not burning sat time everytime you send a message.
What irritates me is I live in Washington and I am at 27 years trying to get a branched antler tag for elk. The part that irritates me is I have friends that are on their 3rd or 4th tag in less than 15 years. Once you are drawn in Washington it just gets easier after every tag. I know a...
I have a utility trailer that got packed with that mud and 5 years later some of that mud is still packed in the frame. Every now and then I crawl under it with a screwdriver and hammer and chisel some mud out of there. Pressure washing does not even bother it. That is some of the nastiest stuff...
The watershed has no OTC tags. It is a special tag with a limited amount of tags. Also it has limited entry (Daylight hours only) and it is unlawful to camp in there overnight. So as far as talking about units for hunting, the watershed is safe to talk about. The only time the watershed can be...
No clue, I just got a text and he said he drew the Mt. Spokane. I have not talked to him since then to get the particulars. I know I did not draw a branched antler with 27 points and a late mule buck with 18 points.
