Midwestmatt,
It does not time out. Once you buy it you do it on your schedule and can go back to it whenever you want. Dan(elkshape) is a crossfit guy so while the program is not crossfit, its similar in that it has that style of workouts.
A lot of the program is step ups and sandbag work. There...
@hunting1 said just about everything I would have said. The only thing I would add is mobility work. Make sure you stay flexible so you can maneuver over downfall and random stuff like that
I'm gonna throw in another vote for the Elk Collective. I really like how they give opinions/strategies from different hunters. Everybody has a different hunting style, and they cover things from a lot of different angles.
Just got back from a successful 3rd season trip to Colorado. After a tough first couple days, we were able to go 3 for 3 on 3 consecutive days. All 4 pointers, unfortunately my cousins buck broke off the back fork sometime between when we located him on Sunday morning and when he shot him on...
I have always fletched my own arrows, in years past I have always used the blazer vanes with the Arizona ez fletch mini and never had any issues. This year I decided to try the AAE max vanes so I got the larger AZ ez fletch. It seems to have a much more extreme helical on it than the mini and I...
I did it strict for 30 days and felt great and lost 16 lbs. I have since added some carbs back into my diet and have seen my weight loss slow way down and feel more lethargic at times. I think it would be tough to maintain that diet, for me anyways during hunting season since I wont have access...
No cleaning necessary, just let it marinate and trap in the flavor! Lol
Outside of finding a creek to clean it, I'm not sure. I will follow to see everyone else's ideas since I also pack in a shaker.
It took me 3 years to kill one with a rifle, 6 years with a bow. Biggest piece of advise I got was be aggressive. I was always too afraid of messing things up I definitely think I cost myself a few bulls.
Soft feet! My feet blister way too easily. I have been on hunts where after day 1 or 2, I have had 6-10 blisters on EACH foot. I have to lace my boots so tight my feet just go numb to finish out the remaining days of the hunts.
Luckily I bought a pair of Kenetreks a couple years ago and my feet...
Our gym received one of these a few years back to test out for a few months. Yes, it is a great workout, but CaseyL26 is right, you can get the exact same results with a decent treadmill and some dumbells for a fraction of the cost.
Before last season I picked up a quarter pad from BASEkamp. I really liked it. They are very compact, light and seem like they will last a long time.

Thank you Marble. Definitely sounds like i'll need an atv to get places, but could be ok if I just get hiked in and away from roads. If my Idaho experience tells me anything, its theres a good chance a lot of them dont get far away from their vehicles. Hopefully thats true here too
