Argali Carbon Knife Review, By Jordan Budd

Not sure what is going on but I'd love to take a look at the blade if you are OK with it. Lots of things impact edge retention including how the operator uses it, but we have so many people, including me, that have cut up a lot of elk with them I'd like to make sure the edge angle is where it...

    Flying with Titanium Stove?

Wouldn't be a problem in your checked bag at all. And I don't know why it would be an issue in your carry on if you wanted to do that.

    Argali Knives?

Hey Mike, That performance you got from the Serac is less than impressive. It might just be that there is something up with your knife specifically. I've personally cut up quite a few elk and deer with our Serac knife and we have A LOT of customers that have done the same without issue and with...

    Silnylon vs silpoly

I've never said ours is "better". It's different and we use it for a reason, which I've articulated based on my and our extensive field testing. You can decide what you like better. If I find a nylon in the future I like better than our current poly fabric, I'd use it in a heartbeat. We're...

    Silnylon vs silpoly

That's an impossible question to answer for every silnylon and silpoly fabric out there. You can get cheap fabric made out of nylon or poly, and you can get expensive made out of either material. It's no different than any other man-made material. How it is made and who makes it matters, a lot...

    Silnylon vs silpoly

Let me address a few comments here. First, I love comparison videos like this. We do a lot of testing and they are a great way to test fabrics and tents. It would be easy to watch this video and come away saying silpoly is inferior to silnylon, therefore you should buy silnylon. That's exactly...

Backcountry hot tent - SO twilight, Cimarron, Argali Absaroka

One point of clarification. The myth that silnylon is stronger than silpoly is simply not true, particularly when the fabric gets wet. There are multiple factors that affect tear strength and seam strength. Fabric weight, PU vs. silicone coatings (PU coatings decrease tear stength, silicone...

    Argali Tent Half Inserts

It really won't work, particualy if you think about the zipper door configuration. Also, if you have a stove running you don't want a bunch of loose nylon fabric around that can easily bump into the stove. It will melt real quick if it touches the stove.

New Argali Yukon 8P 2-Pole Tent

These tents are made overseas. Fellas-Happy to address this head on and as honestly as I can. I'm going to give you a long answer. Our tents are a product of Korea, sewn in Hong Kong. My focus is on making quality products over all else. We use the fabric we do and the manufacturer we do...
