Thanks, I had wondered if some sort of small sponge, or shamwow would work. It was raining pretty hard and I couldn’t produce anything that wasn’t already damp to try to dry the lenses.

What is the best way to clean scope lenses of water while hunting? I was hunting in the rain this evening and had my lenses covered with butler creek scope caps. They work good until I had a shot opportunity that didn’t present itself. After that I had moisture on the lenses that I could not...
Who knows what the truth is, I was told by the gentleman I spoke with that they didn’t do online sales unless their vendors were stocked up. He said they have priority before sierra online. I also asked him about back ordering or notifications when the 95TMK was available and he didn’t offer any...
Update on the 95TMK, I spoke with Sierra today he said it was a website glitch and they do not have 95TMK in stock. My order was canceled.

Have a look at Hankins custom rifles. He has a system of installing a custom breech plug in a CVA 45/70. I had one built this spring and couldn’t be happier. I sent him the barrel, he did the work, I got his breech plug and modules which shoot large rifle magnum primers, a bullet sizer and...
I tried H4350 but the H1000 was much more accurate. The current load with H1000 gets me all I’ll ever need. Plus it’s the powder I have the most of so I’m happy.

I ended up getting both a 1:8 243 and a 6.5cm. Both cut to 17”. The 243 is shooting 108eldm at 2825 with a full case of H1000. The 6.5cm is shooting 130tmk at 2675. They both shoot like you would expect a tikka to shoot.
