Elk hunting calibers

Thanks for the response and all of the info ! Will be heading up in Sept for a few days of scouting / recon. Any recommendations on elk camp locations? Will have 3 rigs - two trailers one class C. Really looking forward to the trip,pouring over GE and topo maps like a mad man. Will be...
