lol, I was just having this same conversation with myself. I bought a 200 dollar 6 arc upper and put it on a lower I had around. It shoots very well for what it is. Now that I know it shoots I wanna suppress it and put a accupoint on it. But how do you put 1200-1400 in scope an suppressors, or...
I shot my buck today with that scope at 23 yds on 3 power, no issues at all. my eye just goes to the dot. be aware it does get dimmer to almost go away during the daylight but duplex is fine an I have eye issues
I had the same issues before I bought my 308. Hated it wasnt a true SA. But, I wouldnt know the difference now and could care less. I get being OCD, I am to, but its a non issue
all mo deer, some on private some on public. Im a huge believer in the ballistic tips. Best bullet ive ever shot at deer for just putting them down quickly. Yes, it leaves a hole, but nothing like some of the pics on here.
no, I can pretty much shoot anything. Id have to look to be positive but am sure the 223 is legal to, just wanting something a little more.
how long is the barrel in the howa 1500. Im wanting a 16 inch gas gun
ok, I hunt heavy timber, shots are 75 yds max and most within 50. I want a 16 inch gas gun so going with one of the above. 6 arc obviously built for long range and less gr bullets but moves about 200 fps faster. grendel shoots a bit heavier bullet and cheaper. I want complete pass thru not...
larger than what your asking im assume, but 308 with 165 gr ballistic tips, 8 deer all within 100 yds, all dead within 20 yds but all ran 20.
Ive personally not had or seen good luck with eldx. I saw a deer shot at 50 yds from a 3006, hit perfectly, and she ran almost 150 yds. I shot several...
yep, I had a howa varmint 223 years ago and loved it, but its not the same quality as my tikka 308. I was just wanting to build a cheap good deer rifle for my daughter and thought if the quality was close this was a much cheaper option. but, i am hoping this will be her go to gun for years so...
thanks guys, I saw the superlight to, just not sure I wanted to go that route. I will prob just bight the bullet and get a tikka so I dont have regrets later.
this is the 6.5 cm heavy barrel, I was/am thinking about it instead of tikka cause its alot cheaper to go that route, but, they are saying 5.6 lbs just for the barrelled action. If I did that I would have 6.12 lb ish rifle with a stockys before scope and supressor, heavier than I was wanting...
