    I carry a custom 7mm mag in my gun bearer. #6 bull barrel, manners t2a stock. Gun weighs about 15 pounds. I like the gun bearer better than having the gun strapped to the back of the pack.     I used the kifaru gun bearer this year on my mystery ranch. Best system I've ever used. I was so sick of my sling sliding off my shoulder because of my pack.

    Window Mount and Spotter head advice

    I have a vanguard window mount that kind of sucks. Wouldn't stay in the exact position when I would lock it. After getting a benro head and slik tripod I had a machine shop fit the benro to the window clamp. Works awesome!!

    What was the price for the load sling?? I've been looking for one for a year. They offered that to me as an option a few years ago when I bought my pack and I thought I would get it later on if needed. Now with the new structure you can only get it with a bds nice frame.

    My normal is 9.5. I tried both sizes in the store and the 10s felt better. But the store isn't the same as elk hunting. I should have went with the 9.5s. I had read that with lowas you should go up a bit. So the 10s feeling better made sense
