i just went through basically the same process and ended up with the seekins in 6.5cm. only had it a few weeks but so far i am happy. first time at the range to zero it put 4 shots into just under an inch (which is good for me). dialed to 200 and 300, which is as far as that range goes and it...
not sure how much of a duck hunter you are coming from south texas, but there is some really good duck hunting in the areas outside of seattle, especially north in skagit and whatcom counties.
I would check ammoseek I see them on there fairly regularly. Just bought 2 boxes a couple weeks ago for normal prices.
But if the trophy bonded tips are what you have I would use them no problem. Killed an elk for me a couple years ago, but have since switched the the terminal ascents as my 06...
i believe his math is correct. that 5% is the probability that you draw at least one tag if you put in for all of them. that is not the same as the situation you are describing where everyone is in one big pot and they pull 176 names from it
does anyone have any experience with these compared to Tetra's? have really been considering dropping the money for those for a while now, but they are a significant step up in price. had never heard of the Ottos but now have me really interested for the price
Had our hunt moved to next year as well, guide just simply asked if we wanted to use the deposit we already paid to hold a spot for 2021. We agreed and are on the books next year. I agree an additional rollover fee seems ridiculous
have the wildpeaks on my f150. they've been great so far, performance and wear wise. guy at the shop was even surprised the other day when rotated em how well they were wearing for having 20k miles. i got the load range E and have lost a couple mpg's though
haha ok man. I'm not here to get in some big debate with you over this. the fact that you're literally the only one on this whole thread that sees a problem with the situation the way the OP laid it out tells me enough.
be sure to let us know what FWP's take on this is, as i'm genuinely curious...
oh give me a f*cking break. according to the regulations, "hunt" in that context means to “pursue, shoot, wound, kill, chase, lure, possess or capture.” I dont think texting your buddy that youve found a bull, then going back to town to eat lunch, then take a nap and make a plan together in...
mighty generous! where were you two years ago when i got skunked on my deer hunt in one of those units?! haha i'd be taking you up on this no doubt if i was headed back to idaho this year
As I’m sure you were all dying to know which rifle I ended up going with...
here’s the new model 70 that just got finished up. Can’t wait to start shooting it. Thanks all for the input! in the end I went with the familiarity of the Winchester.
